The projector is really good for the price and works perfect. I bought it to watch movies and it works really cool.No issues so far and we already watched 3 movies. And EPSON makes good projectors for sure.
Anyways, once I set up the projector and turned it on, it took a long time to initialize. I needed this project urgently for a presentation, and I would never have expected to receive a damaged product.
Then the display light indicated that there was a problem with the lamp. I called Epson to troubleshoot and it was indeed a bad lamp.
When I received this projector, the first thing that caught my attention was the box. If I buy a brand new projector, I expect it to have a new lamp as well as everything else.
From the writing on it, I could tell it was a returned product. There was a message saying that a problem was solved.
Epson is shipping me a new bulb, and I hope that solves the problem.
Besides the cords, it comes with its own carrying case and a cd with a manual to install on your computer. I was able to use the USB cord (included) to do a power presentation for a meeting, only 24 hours after the projector arrived. It works well in a "dimly lit room." It has a nice feature that turns off the light (but not the projector) when the front cover is closed, and it is "instantly cool" after turned off. Absolutely. There were no worries about buying the right cords to connect anything, and there was no problem in getting it set up. Would I tell friends about it. I haven't yet run sound through the projector, since I have stereo speakers I use for that purpose.
Would I buy it again. I am a neophyte when it comes to using overhead projectors, but took a chance on this one. So, I tried the "external monitor" cord (also included) and the situation was quickly resolved. It was truly "plug & play." A few days later, I needed to present a video clip to an audience. When I checked it out, I discovered that in videos, the USB cord was inadequate. Without hesitation.
