Seems like there have been some very nice 'software' upgrades as far as the menu system and some of the features I wish my older TV had. I didn't buy it from Amazon but I did get it for the same price. So far I have been very happy with this TV, I bought it to use as a bedroom TV. Very good price for a very good TV. Very impressive HD picture, and I have it hooked up to my computer and it makes a great monitor. Now, I have had and HD TV in my living room for a few years now (another Sony) and now that I have this one I see some of the changes made to the newer TVs and now I want to replace the living room TV because of these changes. If I wish something was different I would like change the source of the PIP window when using my computer, as it stands right now this can not be done I can only watch an over the air antenna while using my computer.Over all great product for a great price, just shop around.
The picture is gorgeous and requires no adjustments. I'm using it with my DirecTV HD connection. I love this television. 720P is just fine for this screen size - you really don't need 1080P and couldn't probably tell the difference on a 32" screen.
We chose the 32-inch Bravia based on our satisfaction with our 40-inch, purchased through Amazon.com last January. My Mom asked me to recommend a flat-screen so she can be ready for the change to digital next year. The picture on the Bravia is fantastic and Amazon's price, service and follow-up are unparalleled.
It would format the HD picture with a strange border at the bottom of the screen. I had to return. My TV was a dud. Amazon was very helpful with my return.
Bought this TV for the bedroom- picture quality is very goodHave 46" Sony LCD in my family room that is a year old & love it so purchased another Sony. I think the price was excellent on Amazon & it arrived within a few days- ahead of the original delivery date.
