User Comments about the JVC UXGP5 Audio Micro Component System with iPod Connection

I like the iPOD dock and it has lots of features for the money. I must admit though, that I am not using the stock speakers. Needed to replace a dead Panasonic shelf system and found this. I'm using it to drive Boston Acoustic bookshelf speakers.

I am very pleased with this product. This is an excellent product because of the "big" sound which emanates from such a small package. Great quality for the price.

Pros:- Nice cool looking design- Features galore: ipod, aux-in, 3 daily timers, auto-standby, 3 dim levels- Great ipod integration: clever flip-down dock, (menu navigation, repeat, shuffle operations etc) through remote, can turn on/off ipod charging while docking- Can replace bundled speakers- CostCons:- Thin sound with boomy bass (Bundled speakers are most to blame)
