Simple and inexpensive, providing a powered USB port you can use to charge anything. If the blue light bothers you, rotate it while plugged in and you can't even see it, or put a piece of tape over it :pEnjoy.
The removable dock cable is very nice, and it will charge/power other USB devices. I purchased two last month and have encountered zero issues with them. It's compatible with Apple iPod nano (1st, 2nd and 3rd generation); iPod (4th and 5th generation); iPod classic; iPod touch; iPhone; iPhone 3G.
