User Comments about the Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

Great pic quality. Fantastic TV. Touch of color adds a nice contrast to the typical 'black' TV.

It looks great on the wall. Watching football on this set is absolutely awesome. So far I am incredibly happy with the Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. Movies are better than a movie theater (if they are in HD).

I do not have any HDMI components yet and I wish it had more S-Video or RCA connections. Amazon service is the best. This TV is excellent and I love it. The TV was delivered before the promise date and delivery was very smooth. Delivery company called and scheduled the appointment and then I got a call from the driver around 30 minutes before delivery time. Much has been said about this TV already so I can't add much. I will definitely buy again from Amazon.

I set them both up to match as closely as possible, but the Sony picture is just fractionally cleaner/crisper than the Samsung. The picture was a live HD sports transmission.as close to a no compression source as you can get.Result. (I should tell you I have spent the better part of twenty years working on film to tape digital tv post production, and I know artefacts). Great picture, nearly perfect.BUT.I bought it for installing in a tv lift in the master bedroom. They were both simultaneously connected to the same Direct tv 1080p box, and the same dvd player via an hdmi connection. The Samsung is great- but you get what you pay for. I was able to compare it precisely with our Sony kdl 52xbr lcd. The Sony isn't thirty percent better- even though it was thirty percent more costly- but if you want the very best- no expense spared- its still the Sony

My husband had to help the delivery man carry in the television (I don't know what he would have done if my husband wasn't able to help him), I asked about it and he said the person who usually works with him called in sick. They were made aware of the problems, and the only answer given was to write a poor review.

Isn't it amazing that the same delivery person came to my son's home this morning by himself (again had to be helped bring the tv in the house) and then left--DID NOT EVEN OPEN THE BOX, PLUG IT IN OR EVEN TAKE AWAY THE BOX. How can Amazon advertise "White Glove Delivery" and list what it entails and then let situations like this occur.

I am extremely pleased with this television, the picture is beautiful and it is exactly what I've been looking for. I would think that Amazon would be a little more concerned about misrepresenting facts on their site--what they describe as White Glove Delivery certainly were misleading for my son and myself.

Unfortunately, my happiness with this product has been tainted by the extremely poor supposed "White Glove Delivery". I read other reviews before I ordered the tv and some people seem to have had wonderful experiences; whereas, mine was quite the opposite and my son's was even worse.

I am very disappointed in the delivery service and I believe it is Amazon's responsibility to do something about it, or they should not advertise something that is not happening.
