But this charger is remarkably quick, whether used in the car or a wall outlet. An excellent choice if all you want is a charger. And if you're considering an FM transmitter, trust me. I'm not a fan of Griffin products after being disappointed by their iPod/iPhone products over the years, but this charger is exceptional. Charging the iPhone can take quite awhile, especially if the charger isn't designed specifically for the iPhone. they are all hugely disappointing, including all the models from Griffin.

Works really well and re-charges products with a USB cord. This is a definite buy.

Cosmetically the black matched her units and the functionality has gone undiminished, so no problems in the short run. Griffin traditionally makes a reliable product and their PowerDuo Home/Car Charger for iPod and iPhone 1G (Black) is apparently no exception. The product was ideal for my daughter who has both an iPod and an iPhone. Keep up the good work Griffin.
