Editorial Reviews:

The popular iPod shuffle is just half a cubic inch in volume, weighs just half an ounce, features an aluminum design with a built-in clip. The 2GB model lets music lovers bring even more songs everywhere they go in the impossibly small iPod shuffle.

User Comments about the Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Silver (2nd Generation)

The computor does not even recognize that a device is plugged into it. First of all it WAS NOT an apple ipod shuffle. It will not do anything when plugged into the computor. Spend your money on someone elses products. It does not work. I am red flagging "johnnybravo 234" from any future products. I went back and read the reviews and they are all like the one I am writing now.

I tried to contact the sender and he is not responding back. Bad service. I decided to down load music on it so it would be ready. It was a knock off. I bought it for a gift for my daughter for christmas. I did not even want to give him any star ratings but you have to give at least 1 star.

They only guarantee the battery for a year and then you can pay $49 plus $6.95 shipping to have it replaced. You can buy a ipod shuffle for around $48 brand new. Buy another brand.

I LOVE the shuffle because of it's size and convenience. It is very small and portable and clips on to your clothing. I had an mp4 player that held music, pictures, and video but I never seemed to use it. The sound is GREAT. I would have rather had the purple one but they were out so I bought the pink one, which is fine. I guess it was just all the bells and whistles that I didn't need. I highly recommend this one to very busy people who enjoy their own music.

This product is durable- sounds great- and most of all it is well worth the $45. It is the best product out there for those who are into physical fitness and want something that is not intrusive in anyway.

The overall usability is just as simple as I need it to be while I'm jogging. It's clipped onto my pants or my sleeve or my pocket and I can quickly press whatever button I need to take care of business without having to break my stride. I purchased the new iPod shuffle because I got really tired of holding onto my chunky Classic when trying to go running, and the sleak clip-on design of the Shuffle was just what I needed. This has not been a problem for me seeing as I update the playlist often and the shuffle recharges while I'm doing that. And I've never had it come off which is what I was worried about the most. But the battery rarely runs down regardless.I highly recommend this product if you're just looking for a simple, inexpensive MP3 player to have on your body without it getting in your way. The only thing that didn't work for me was the earbuds.

And I don't need it to be able to hold 1000 songs since I only go through about 10-20 in one workout period. The volume goes as high or as low as I need it. They tend to hurt my ears, and when running they work their way out of my ears completely. So I just invested in a pair of earbuds that wrap around my ears. Some folks have issues with the fact that you can only charge it through a computer. I already have an iPod classic that's large enough to fit my 10,000 song collection onto it. There is a toggle switch to turn the "shuffle songs" feature on or off which is nice so that I don't get tired songs being played in the same order over and over again. I have no complaints. I essentially use it to play a specific playlist that I've developed in iTunes so I don't need a screen to tell me what I'm listening to.

It's worth every dime.
