It was super easy to set up and works great. I listen to audiobooks in my car whenever I travel and used to have to use headphones since my car doesn't have mp3 integration. I didn't have to go through 5 other car kits before buying this like many others did. I had been looking at car kits that just played your mp3 player output on the radio, but when I saw this I knew I had to get one. Luckily I got it while it was on Amazon Lightning deals for $74.00 shipped. The only criticism I have is that the power and radio buttons are on the back and are a little awkward to get to, especially when driving. This was the first one I purchased, so I don't have anything to make comparisons to. If you turn it on and set the radio up before you hit the road you are OK.Sound quality for mp3 and phone calls is great.
I think it is better than a headset. This device is easy to install and connect with my phone which is a blackberry it is easy to use, people that I talk to ask if I am in a cave which I am not, however I am in a 2001 4runner which does not have a blue tooth stereo So I do not use the feature that has the audio on the radios speakers. Unless you like the headset look.
My wife tells me that she cannot tell whether I am using the T505 or talking directly into my cellphone. I installed this product in about two minutes and without reading the instructions, I was able to get it up and going. Transmitting into the FM radio is very easy and very effective.
Great audio quality on both ends of calls. However, be aware that calls made through the radio will require constant frequency changes while driving since you will come in and go out of range of stations and available empty frequencies. Works exactly as advertised. Use the unit itself for calls if you are driving over long distances.
This is my second unit, i lost the first one. I enjoy this unit because it is easy to use and can be listen though the car speakers
