This unit records great and delivers a clear crisp image. I have used it in all modes and never had a problem. Really a pretty nice unit for the pirce. Playback is nice crisp and clear. I do feel the remote is a little cheezy in that it is really light weight and does not feel like it would last very long. I think the tray open and close is a little slow but that is no problem unless you are in a real hurry. Buttons on the remote seem to be quite small but the remote does function like it should.If you are looking for a great little DVD recorder that is easy to use then check this one out, it is quite good for the home user at the right price.
