The case itself is fine, but now I have to pay extra money for shipping so I can get one that does work with iTouch 2. It doesn't fit the new iTouch which, I would assume, makes it almost useless at this point. I think they should make a point of that in the description, because I just completely wasted my time.
so I've been rather careful with my iTouch. Get as close to clean-room conditions as you can when you're applying that thing. However, removing the case is rather difficult and ends up gouging the notch you insert the coin into. I'm not really looking forward to adding a new screen protector. I've had this case for a few weeks and it seems to be very durable. I haven't dropped it much though, since I got a single piece of fuzz under the included screen protector and ruined it after attempting to clean it off. That said, it is a touch screen device and that tends to make things more complicated.Bottom line: does what it says it does, but no stellar qualities.
It wasn't good for my ipod. The length was slightly short so I couldn't be sealed completely.
Further it has the word Griffin on it. If you're interested in just a protective case this one might be ok or a soft silicon one might be better. As the 1st reviewer said the back is not clear it's opaque. If you'd like to see your iPod perhaps with a skin on it like mine has I'd suggest looking at Tuneware's Tuneshell product. It has Tuneware written on the back of it but it does appear to be clear.
It's a great protective case if you don't want to camouflage your iPod but still want to protect it. However, if you use the dock, my ipod won't sit on the dock anymore, I have to unplug the cord from the base and connect it, which is kind of a drag, but regular connectors still fit easily and I haven't had any problems with my car adapter. Got this product several weeks ago; it works perfectly, I've dropped my ipod a few times, no scratches and the case held up. Plus, it's the cheapest price I saw from several stores I looked at before buying at Amazon.
