The worst thing of this product is its very bad software and furthermore they don't have any service on line, no answers for your problems
The FAQ instructions were useless, because they mentioned a tab on Explorer that simply does not show on my system. So, my husband and I took the time to google various online groups until we found a solution.
So I e-mailed customer support explaining the problem. No answer.
As someone already wrote, do not buy this product unless you are willing to spend a lot of time googling solutions for the issues that this device will have. The point is that good money was paid for this device, and we should not have to waste hours so that the good customer "service" folks at Sansa don't have to.
I experienced a bunch of problems, from WMP not seeing songs on the device to the device playing the same song over and over again while in shuffle mode. I went to the website and tried to follow their instructions, and downloaded all the available updates (I do suspect that firmware updates caused the problems to begin with, since the device was working just fine until I downloaded an update).
I will not purchase their products again, and I encourage you to look elsewhere unless you are the kind of person who enjoys tinkering with things that you paid for and that don't work properly.
Was about to get a shuffle but why spend double the amount that offers something less. This has a screen, recorder, fm radio, and awesome sound. It is so light I don't even notice when I am jogging. Got this because my iPod Video is too big when I go jogging. Now to wait for wireless headphones to hit the market in 2049
It is soooo tiny but has very easy to use controls and a vivid easy to read screen. I use it exclusively to download free audiobooks from my local library and listen to the audiobooks as I do my daily exercise routine. I purchased the SanDisk Sansa Clip 1 GB mp3 player recently and have really enjoyed it. It easily holds 6 or 7 entire audiobooks and automatically begins the story just where I left off the day before.I do not enjoy listening with the included earbuds so I use full size headphones and they work just fine with this Sansa Clip mp3 player. It automatically charges its battery every time I'm hooked to the computer's USB port and this is also how the audiobooks are downloaded. All in all, its a great player at a low price.
Its really small so you may lose it but besides that, its really nice. Its not the fanciest, but it does all that a MP3 player should. Very well built, aesthetic and functional.
