She has been wanting one for a long time. I got this for my daughter who is 12 almost 13. I have not used it but she says it is GREAT.
The sound is excellent and the headphones are pretty decent. My wife and I both got one and we have been downloading and transferring songs to them like crazy. It comes with a cable to plug it into the PC to transfer files and one you can use to plug into your vehicle if you have an auxillary port so you can play it through your car stereo in Aux mode. You can set the play mode to genre, artist, albums, songs, shuffle, and many other possible settings.
I think this player is an excellent value and although you can get MP3 players for less money, it has been my experience you get what you pay for. The display is easily readable and you can set it to show the album cover, songs, artist, and much more.
It it is easy to use it without even reading any instructions. It is a nice compact size you can put in your pocket or purse.
Since this has been so reliable and easy to use when I upgrade it will be to the Sony 16 GB Walkman Video MP3 Player. I am extremely pleased with this player.
I have loaded numerous singles and albums and I still have over 2 GBs left. They hold a lot of music.
The slim case for this model is 2 6/8" x 1 3/8" made of a solid red strong plastic and the buttons and display are also quality plastic materials. So I recommend you spend more and get much more.CA Luster
I dont have to charge it all the time. You can listen to radio stations, the sound quality is excellent, and the battery life is much longer than the iPOD. Its user friendly, and you can personalize the settings. I recently had my iPOD stolen, and couldn't afford to buy another one. And it has impressed me very much. Its very small and cute. I came across this mp3 player and bought it because it was much cheaper. Im very happy with my purchase, I will never get an overly priced and cheap quality iPOD again.
Easy to use right out of the box. Bought this for my 9 year old son. He loves it, mastered all of the buttons right away.would definatley recommend.
The battery life also appears good. I have been using it for past 2 months and did not face any issue.
