And I tried to claim, but the process by Internet is VERY COMPLEX. The product looks good, but it's damaged since I received the courier.This is my first time that Amazon shipped to me a product that no works. So, I prefered leave this matter.
Return it and got a second one and second one works without problem. But this DVD player has a problem is the first one I got constantly hang during power up, need to unplug the power core to reset it. I paid $60 bucks for this DVD player and the picture quality is excellent. HD DVD looks really sharp and my old DVD looks really clear in 1080i. This is why I did not rate 5 star for this, besides the hang problem, this is a excellent player.
Not much difference from my blu-ray player and my HD dvd player for my xbox 360. I own a 42" and 62" hd tv's and it is perfect in every way. Purchased from amazon and item came as described w/movies. This item is a must have for movie buffs. Get this item asap.
I've had the 360 add-on since the beginning and wanted a stand alone. I love the format and wish it was the one that prevailed, It should have. I'm glad I was able to pick one of these up for so little. Not much to say that everyone doesn't already know and hopefully I will be able to import all of my favorites.
No problems accessing the internet to update the firmware. No problems to date playing any discs. This HD-DVD player works exactly as it should. It's a great entry level machine, or a good inexpensive back up machine.
