User Comments about the JVC Car KWXG700 50W x 4 2-DIN CD Receiver with USB Port

I took a star for that.Remote control is great. Everything from packaging to instructions is excellent.Installation is a breeze even for the mechanically or electrically "declined"USB Source music issues have been described ad-nauseun so no need to use space on that.My only gripe is that I wish the unit had radio station tuning via a rotary knob rather than an up and down switch. I put a piece of velcro (hook) on the back of it and hooks to my headliner, this location always protects the remote from Ultraviolet Damage and as a bonus I always know where it is.If you choose to purchase, don't forget while you are at it to buy the wire harness adapter.

If you take a second to skim the manual then the control layout really makes sense. Much better then burning MP3 CDs, especially since changing out the music is as simple as plugging it into your computer and adding and removing files. The plastic and chrome is really nice too, seems to be very high quality.

The buttons are a good size too and I really like the rotary knob. The sound is great too, much better then the old JVC stereo I had in there. I got this for my 2003 Pontiac Vibe.

I have a ton of music on an 8GB thumb drive, and the drive was only $30. It fit perfectly in the double DIN slot, and the red lighting matches my interior lighting. The USB input is the best thing since CDs.

If you like red lighting, some really good features, great sound, and a good price then do yourself a favor and buy this stereo.

Sounds good, and if I were younger easier to navigate. woo hoo. The bluetooth was an hundred dollars more and after installation my bargain unit was over $500 bucks.Love the bluetooth, I now prefer talking on the phone through the unit. this was bought last christmas and installed not long ago. The display is overblown with disco lights what JVC should have done away with the dancing displays and spent more one the very large display that shows the artist and name of the song.

as most are cut off and imcomplete. At the end of the day the JVC looks fine, I sometime which the face would come off. I find a slight improvement in sound and like other computers it is overly complicated. My Standard Stereo was fading and I wanted and needed a Bluetooth unit as the cell phone laws in cailf where changing. The usb hookup is great, I can connect my flash drive using the usb and my i pod with a simple cord from Radio Shack using the aux connection. Delivery was fast and I have had no problems.

deep conversations in surround sound is GREAT. its a good buy.

JVC Car KWXG700 50W x 4 2-DIN CD Receiver with USB PortThis unit have almost everything you would need on your head unit. The bluetooth feature for your cellphone works perfect. The sound quality is very great. The low points are(1 ) When you eject the CD the music on usb drive stop temperarily.(2) The demo take up too much time over the regular display.(3) The spectrum analizer could be more fancier (4) The control buttons display is poor at night the dim feature is connected. My final rating is 9.5 out of 10 because you will never get another good head unit with all these feature for this low price on a good brand like JVC.

This would happen with any new deck. The remote is rather small, but it has a hole on the end that is perfect to attach to your keys (or what I did was attach it to one of those retractable clips and connected it to my shifter). So before you buy a new deck for your car, check with an installer to see if you need one. Any ways, love it, love it, love it. However, the deck is still totally worth it. MP3 player (Creative model) works and sounds great, USB charges my phone and MP3 player, and it looks great. First and for most, if you have a 2000 or newer car, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING.

He said that on newer cars, the computer of the car is run through the radio and if you do not get this adapter, many serious problems will occur (such as not being able to go past 2nd gear). I had someone install mine who has installed at least 10 others (all on older cars). When we went to get the stuff needed to "make a clean connection", we found out that on newer model cars, you need a $130 adapter. >*>*>*>*UPDATE*
