Also it will power and charge the Ipod/Iphone. The FM Transmitter has a very flexible neck to allow a proper fit in many vehicles. The USB slot is great for charging a bluetooth or any other USB powered devices.
this product is horrible. just like the rest, there is a lot of static, you drive a couple of miles and you have to change that station because the static just overtakes it all. After taking my time looking for an adapter for my ipod, I deiced to buy this because it had the best reviews out of the hole bunch and it was the most expensive out of all the 5 star products. some songs are played with the bass really high and eve though i try to adjust it with my stereo, it just cannot be done. when I bought this product it had 5 stars. well that sometimes does not work. Now, it is down to 3 so my guess is that I am not the only one.
I dont know what happend, work one time only I check ( Effuse ) I dont, regards
I was quickly issued a replacement item and that was guaranteed to work. However, the instant I plugged my iPhone into the replacement unit, the iPhone screen went blank and it got blazing hot. After 30 minutes, the iPhone was dead. PLEASE do not buy this product. The first product I was sent failed to work with my original iPhone, as was advertised. My iPhone worked great for more than a year and this terrible product killed it.
However, when you actually try and play your music on it, you find that the quality of the music is poor. I like the LCD display and that it's backlit. There's static, crackling, and popping (just like my title says.
On the surface, the device has many good things going for it. =D) And not only that but if your cigarette lighter is too far from the radio, it degrades the quality even more. I thought I knew what to expect from almost any FM transmitter: mediocre sound quality, some interference here and there, and overall just an OK music experience.
I like the design and the fact that it charges your iPod. But this device even exceeded those expectations. and not in a good way.
Kinda makes me wish that cassette players still came in cars so I could just play it through that.
