User Comments about the Jwin JDVD519 5.1-Channel Progressive Scan DVD Player With HD Upconversion

I have it hooked to a 48' 1080p LCD via HDMI and the upconversion looks pretty good. I haven't seen other upconversion players so I don't have a baseline but if all you want is a cheap player that looks decent for an HD player this is it

I bout in the store. If you trying to play computer files, it's starts nicely than it freeze and go to another file. It would stop in the middle of movie, freeze, skip. And keeps telling unsupported codec. Do not recommend it. I really hate this player. Waist of money.
