First car had professional direct wired installation, sounds great but was expensive (over $[.].). The SureConnect is easy, and sound quality is very good, about as good as the direct wired connection.I installed this one myself less than an hour. I bought this kit from Amazon for $[.]. About 15-20 minutes to run the antenna wire through the door and then under the dashboard to the cradle in the middle of the dash, and only about 10 minutes to run the SureConnect wire from the radio mast on the front fender to the cradle on the dash. Attaching the cradle to the dash took maybe 5-10 minutes. so we could use our XM (SkyFi3) radio in both cars. Surprised at both the low price and how good it sounds, and it was easy for me to install.
