The extra space is just enough room for the car charger/power cord. There is probably enough room for the computer cord, since it is so small, but I rarely worry about that. Bought this case because most of the GPS cases are too small to fit the TomTom One with the holder as well as the car charger/power cord. Granted, when you zip it closed, it is obvious that the TomTom unit is stretching the capacity of the case, but it is not enough to make closing it difficult at all. And at $17, I can't complain.Nice to have a case for everything that feels rugged enough, holds all the necessary parts on one case, and is only the size of a thick paperback. With this case, the TomTom takes up about 2/3 of the space (with the holder attached) and is secure under the elastic strap. I'll probably add a thin piece of foam rubber to put over the screen before closing.probably not a necessity, but it can only help.
Nice case but pricey I found it for three bucks cheaper at my local Staples store.
One side holds the hard drive using an elastic strap, and the other side is a mesh pocket for the cable. I don't even take my hard drive out of the case anymore. This case is great - the color is true to the picture online - a nice wine red color and the trim is green. I simply plug the cable to my hard drive and the other end to the computer. I highly recommend this product to protect expensive hard drives. The case is sturdy. It's money well spent.
the case is poor,,,it does not actually protects your HD 90%and the price is not worth for this productthanks
Nothing can't be more protective to a Passport-Like portable hard drive.It works out great.
