My only wish would be that it were bigger with a bigger speaker. And trust me, the picture doesn't do it justice, it look much better in person (even though it looks great in the picture). I bought this radio for my mother for mother's day, and she loves it. Reception is fantastic and the sound, while not exactly vacuum tube warm, has that "contained in wood sound" (I could just be crazy though). It's not exactly prototype size.
Unfortuantely, this does not have a clock, so I still need my alarm, but I have this sitting on my desk to listen to my local radio stations. The build quality is very good, it feels very solid.I definately reccomend this product, and come to think of it, any and all Crosley products.
The stations come through crystal clear. I live in Philadelphia and am picking up Deleware radio stations.
I purchased this radio a little while ago, and have been pleased with it since delivery. Thet are all very good looking and solid products.
First, it looks wonderful, has that old style look to it with the dark Walnut, goes great with any decor. Second, the sound is great, sounds much better than my old clock radio.
This is actually my second Crosley item, and I will continue to purchase their products.
