I gave it to my cousins who have the nano. It doesn't work with iPhone 3G - false advertisement. Waste.
The product does what it's advertised. It charged my iPod just fine until the prongs got all rusted (cheap metal).Keep in mind how much the product costs and adjust your expectations accordingly. As I said, it worked just fine for me, but I would have expected the prongs to not have rusted, at least not as quickly as they did (about 2 months with sporadic use).
I actually use this product quite a bit. It comes in handy when I'm out of town or at home and don't feel like hooking up my iPod to the computer.
When either of the others were plugged into my iPod Touch it started doing strange things - turned on even if powered down and I couldn't turn it off even with the hard on/off button, the touch control didn't work and the screen display randomly zoomed in and out and sideways. The chargers also created loud interference with radios in our house. I'm concerned that if I continue to use them they may damage my iPod. BargainCell Rapid Travel Charger for iPodThese were cheap (90c) and although there were some mixed reviews I decided to buy three - for me and my children. One was dead on arrival (DOA). With shipping and handling they actually cost $11.64 for three, but it would have been easier, less hassle and safer to just take my money and throw it in the bin.
I bought two. Was looking for something to charge other than through my computer or car and found these. Use one at work to listen the ipod and have it stay fully charged all day, and one in my suite case for travel and to also have around the house.I have since lost the work one but am looking for it. I've bought two of these, and the price is so great I may buy more. Which have nice battery life at first but the more you use them the faster the battery dies. Though these are so cheap and work so great that may buy one or two more. I was using the 30 gig ipod video unit and upgraded to the 160 unit. They come in very handy, especially if you aren't around a computer, or near a high priced device that plays the ipod and charges it.
