Simple to connect, simple to use - AWESOME. We are no computer gurus, but will now look into other uses. Okay, so we bought this exclusively for connecting our computer to our Bluetooth compatible stereo for listening to internet radio. Even if this were the ONLY use we'd get out of it, it does exactly - and flawlessly - what we want it to do.

However the sound was not coming well. By looking in the net finally I got the answer. Out of the box I installed the included driver to pair it with the IOGEAR GBMH211W6 - Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headphones with Built-In Microphone. you need to get the latest updated driver from Broadcom [.].

A reply from IOGEAR Tech Support said that it "will still work with MAC computers but with limited profiles supported." Unfortunately it was incompatible enough that some of the options were greyed out in the Bluetooth Preferences window. While this product probably works quite well on a Windows system It did NOT work properly on my Mac running OS X 10.5.5.

I unfortunately returned it because come to find out, I have no real need for it. It was only to make my printer wireless, but i would need to buy another adapter for my laptop to see the bluetooth printer. The product worked great on my laptop and connected to my cell phone. No thanks.

This one is (many aren't). I was looking for a USB bluetooth accessory for my desktop, and needed one that was compatible with Windows Vista Home Edition 64-BIT. It works great, though nowhere near the advertised range.
