Let's sit back and consider your new home-theater system. Does it include a widescreen HDTV monitor? Do you have a surround sound system with multiple speakers? Do you have a DVD player/recorder? Monster Cable Home Theater Power Center 5100 Mark II is here to protect your system against irregular line voltage that could possibly destroy it.

With Monster Clean Power Stage 4 noise isolation and filtering, the HTS 5100 MKII offers the highest level of component isolation and noise rejection for better picture and sound. And advanced Monster T2 and Tri-Mode protection technology provides unrivaled surge protection technology to help protect your valuable digital TV investments.

The HTS 5100 MKII also sets itself apart with two easy-to-read digital LED meters with adjustable illumination for simultaneously monitoring performance-impairing power conditions; programmable outlets and external trigger control for sequenced power-on/off for enhanced component control and protection; and an extra-long 8 ft. PowerLine 300 Cable with large-gauge conductors, 24k gold contacts and advanced shielding for maximum power transfer and interference rejection. New MKII features include a higher joule rating, our patented, computer-controlled Monster T2 surge and voltage protection and surge-protected phone/network connections. All this, plus fire-resistant Monster MOVs to further absorb surges for increased safety and component protection. 6814 joule rating provides a high level of surge absorption. 3 pair surge protected 2.5 GHz coax connectors. 1 pair of surge protected phone/network connectors with splitter. Tri-Mode power protection circuitry with audible alarm and auto disconnect. Digital meter displays both voltage and amperage

User Comments about the Monster Home Theatre Reference HTS 5100 MKII PowerCenter with Clean Power Stage 4 v.2.1 10 surge-protected, color-coded outlets. (MP HTS5100 MKII)

The picture is so good I'm holding on my current TV instead of buying a new flatscreen. From the audio standpoint, there are no pops or hiss no matter what the volume. I knew the household power flucuates but not to extend that I have seen since purchasing HTS 5100 MKII. Between songs you are wondering did the system turnoff because its so quiet. I high recommend this unit. The picture quality has greatly improved on all TVs connected. Amazon also provide the best price on this item.

Product is built well and performs will. Comes with labels for all your devices' cords.

Product was delivered as stated and appeared to be working properly. The power center didnt make a big difference, but may be because i was replacing an older power center that stopped working after about ten years.

They even packed it very well(original sealed box in another plain box. Delivery was about a what the suggested, no complaints at all. This was my first (but not last) blind purchase. I had checked out the product here in canada and retail was almost double. to keep away admirer.).Anyhow, very happy with the purchase and I am considering getting a second one.

I don't think so personally - but to some people who have invested thousands into their home theater, it's cheap and a good tool. OUTLETS. For now, it's a power strip on steroids with a few handy features ironically used for my computer equipment more than the A/V gear.I hope that helps. If you have a TV/DVD/Satellite setup it's certainly not the centerpiece of your system.Would I *BUY* it.

Is it worth the ~400 price tag. All of my TV gear is backed up behind a 3KW APC UPS with an external 48VDC battery array.Having said that, the 5100 does do some nice things. One last comment - every outlet is noise protected and isolated from the others, which in an analog world is an important feature. Current display in big LED digits. No.

I do like the unit having used it for a while now, but I do not turn off my TV, so I forgoe most of the features.I do like the ampmeter that tells you how much currrent you are presently pulling. Families with children might like to have a dollar meter as a feature too.All in all it is very well built and yes, I did take it apart before using it.

Do I like it. Yes.

Perhaps if I move it into my home theater room I might like it more then. First, let me state, I did not BUY this, it was GIVEN to me along with a TV monitor and some satellite uplink gear, so the person who owned it before me may have had a more pressing need.

Regretably they do not have a wattmeter as well. Lots of them.

Error lights for over/under voltage. In today's digital reception, it is not a real useful tool.
