Side by side to the Delphi equivalent, there is no comparison. Delphi product is far superior in sensitivity, or else all three of these units from Audiovox were faulty. Bought three of these trying to find one that would receive a signal from XM. The boombox apparently has some antenna or receiving section issues. Not worth the time and effort to even try another one out. Tested inside and outside. The same Audiovox works fine in auto parked a few feet away from test of boombox, so it had to be all three boxes.
also there is a noticable hum in the background. i would have given this 5 stars but the volume doesnt go down far enough to use as sleeping music. it sounds much better than the other xm boomboxes i tried especially at louder volumes.
Needs a plug near by though. if you like to sit outside and listen to xm this is the thing for you. This boombox has very nice sound, You have to extend the antenna wire out away from radio to pick up go signal in most cases. even outside. because it takes 8 d batteries.
