Even with this extension cable, I have never had a loss of signal. pole, thus clearing my roof line. I bought this to accompany the Sirius Antenna kit I purchased. This allowed me to place my antenna atop a 20 ft. It works great.
Easy to connect. Bought this to go with my "Sirius Home Outdoor Antenna" and have had no problems at all. If you need an extension, I would highly recommend this one.
In order to get the antenna facing in a westerly position, I needed the extra reach afforded me with the fifty foot extension. The construction is much heavy than the antenna's cable and it also includes an amplifier so that the extra distance doesn't degrade the signal being sent to the radio. This is a valuable need if you have to go beyond the 21 foot cable length that is supplied with a Sirius Indoor-Out door antenna. It's easy to work with and it does the job.
I expected a little signal loss, but this was not the case. Works great.
This works great, I haven't lost any signal and I haven't had any problems so far with rain causing issues. I needed an extension for my antenna from my reciever dock inside to a spot outside. I would have gave it 5 stars but the cable is the thickness of normal coaxial (simple terms: normal electonic cords) and makes it very difficult to run through window seals, ect.
