Good design is simple, robust, easy to install and good looking. Just set it and forget it.
Can't get better and easier than that. But this is a sturdy and well designed mechanical device. As an engineer, I appreciate the challenge of creating a good design. The best feature, aside from the simple installation, is the ability to simply position your TV in any location and have it stay precisely where you left it. Additional Hint: Use the correct size Phillips screwdriver to turn the 2.5 inch screws that attach this to the wall.
Hanging my expensive LCD TV on a mount attached to the wall with 2 screws was a little unnerving. If you use a screwdriver that has too small a head, you will strip these long screws (they get hard to turn once they are in about 2 inches).

The included instructions are not well written, so it took us a little bit of trial & error to get it together correctly. It seems very sturdy and I like that it can pull out from the wall a full 20" (some only reach about 10"). My only complaint, which is very minor, is that it's a little stiff - so to pull out the tv from the wall (or push it back) takes a little work. I first shopped for wall mounts at our local Best Buy store and the cheapest one for our 37" Sony LCD tv was $250. I was surprised to find this one online for about $150 less. But, it's not like we need to do that constantly, so it's a minor hassle considering we saved so much money buying this one from Amazon.
I purchased this mount for use with my 32" Samsung LCD. It works perfectly and provides full range of motion.
This is the second peerless wall arm we have bought and installed and they are both working out well. They seem to be a strong support for our TV's and they were not difficult for my husband to install. Highly recommend. The swivel bracket gives us an unlimited choice of angles to turn the TV's.
