No fading or loss of signal. I get perfect reception on all channels. I have used this unit for over a year with outstanding results. The transmitter is located in a pool cabana and the receivers are in the home some 50-80' away. This unit works as it is advertised.
I called Delphi support who told me to send the unit back. I intended to put the antenna in one room and the radio in another. Still didn't help. The transmitter and receiver are in teh same room no more than 12 feet apart in direct line of sight with each other and the signal still fades. I tried all of the positions on the switch on the back of the transmitter unit. If I hook the antenna directly to the radio it works great. I did.
I received it back and it still has the same problem. I received this as a Christmas gift. I tried moving the antenna but nothing changed. When I first connected everything, all of the components were in the same room. The signal faded in and out. I highly recommend that you don't throw away your receipt if you but one of these units.
What else do you need to know. I live in a forest and this allowed me to place the antenna in any window in the house to find reception and as a bonus, there are no wires (except to an outlet). Works perfect. Clean and functional.
