Once I plugged the cord into my pc and connected my nano, it disabled my usb wireless network adapter. This cord kept interfering with all my other usb ports. This did not work for me. It's a solid cord, but doesn't work for me.
The proprietary iPod connector isn't quite as rock solid but, short of chewing on it or hitting it with a blunt object, it's unlikely to fall apart on its own.The iPod end fits snugly and securely, with the iPod recognised properly by the PC and iTunes. Charges up the Touch nicely (unlike a cheap iPod charger I bought elsewhere, which fails in its sole purpose - what is it for then.).Oh, and I paid the extra to get this from Amazon, not some shady 3rd party seller. Needed a cheap cable to charge / reset my sister-in-law's iPod Touch.Upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cable and USB connector. It arrived faster than expected, which was nice.
it's rugged and won't stretch and come apart if you yank it the wrong way. the apple cables which cost more because they're apple, are not as well constructed as this one. shipped quick and arrived with no fuss.
