I would have paid this much just for the converter, the 1 gig chip seems an extra bonus. Fast delivery too.
It was the only memory card I needed for my 3 week vacation. It's a very reliable way to store your photos and transfer to a computer. The transfer speed is very good, but for a large amount of pics, you'll want a card reader.
With the memory, I was able to store hundreds of pics on the card at a high resolution. For taking video, it only stores about 9 minutes at high resolution, so you'll need more storage for that. Simply put, Sony cameras need a Sony memory stick, so you have no choice but to buy this.
However, I never had a problem with either the camera, or my computer reading this. I needed it for my Sony DSC-S700. This is expensive as far as memory sticks go.
All in all, a good memory card.
