Editorial Reviews:

The 1930's were an age of lost innocence with a redefinition of wealth as people struggled to survive the depression and public works projects launched civilization further into the 20th century. The rumbling beginnings that would lead to World War II were beyond the horizon of life in the USA. Music was the thing and swing was king on radio waves and records. Teac GF-350 Nostalgia Stereo System is reminiscent of that period of the 20th century. It also adds a CD Recorder Player (records directly from turntable phono, or from an auxiliary input onto CDR CDRW discs). It lets you convert your old phonograph record collection into a modern CD collection. It's the best of both eras. 3-Speed Belt-drive turntable plays 78, 33, and 45 RPM records with automatic tonearm return at end of play Rotary volume control with on/off Function selector Backlit LCD Jack for adding optional headphone Wireless Remote Control 1 Auxiliary Audio input Requires 120V AC, 60Hz USA Plug (power cord included) Size WHD - 18.87 x 9.12 (unopened) x 15.00 Weighs - 22.5 pounds

User Comments about the TEAC GF-350 Turntable / CD-Recorder

Poor FM Radio reception. Product great for those who like great sound from your records. TEAC GF-350 Turntable / CD-Recordercould offer improvement in antenna or at lease a better option.

Unit takes far too long to recognise the disc placed in the recording tray. CD's have gotten stuck and were only able to be retrieved after turning the unit off, then on again. i've returned my unit 3 times as it's had numerous faults. Error 01, 02, 03, 04 & 05 yet under my warranty repair they found no fault which leaves me with a useless piece of equipment. When it works, it records with insufficient bass and there's no tonal control to correct that - i get better results with an external record player plugged in the auxiliary. There is no output to connect it to another amp and the speakers on this unit are only small. If you accidentally stuff up a track when recording on audio CD-R, you cannot delete it, you just have to record your track again and leave the first attempt on the disc. When i've used CD-RW they record, but will not play back in any of my other CD playersA very dissappointing product.

The record player still does not work. We then sent it to TEAC, who proceeded to fix the wrong component (the CD player) and sent it back. This is a cheaply made product. Our TEAC GF-350 has never worked properly. We took it to a local authorized repair shop where it sat for seven months waiting on a part that never came. There are many other options, most of which cost less, on the market. The turntable component cannot play a record to the end without skipping. AVOID.

I have made manyCD's from the vinyl records in my extensive record collectionfrom the 50's and 60's. I am not a high tech kind of person and I find this unit veryeasy to use --- clearly very user friendly. The sound reproduction is acceptable.I am fully satisfied with my experience with this unit and canhonestly recommend this unit to those who wish to burn CD'sfrom their vinyl records.

The easiest & fastest way to convert your favorite music to Compact Disc.Records as you listen with a touch of a button. Great turn-table.
