My Grandkids love to come over and watch movies. I use it to show movies from a projector connected to a PC. They think it is better than going to the theater because you don't get free popcorn, brownies and pop at the movies.
Works great for my mobile teaching. Screen is of excellent quality, and ease of set-up and viewing. Fast open and close when transporting. Get the bag, also.I am happy to own one.
The one thing I would change would be the position of the tripod legs so that the rear leg wasn't pointing straight back. It sets up easy, it's easy to carry. Bought it for an outside birthday party at night. The movie showed up very well after the sun went down. Instead have one pointing straight forward and the two rear legs at an angle, then it would be easier to have the screen closer to the wall and maximize room space a little better.
Very well built and solid product. Maybe it will not be very light to carry for most women, but I am not sure about that because I saw few reviews written by women saying that they had no problem carrying the screen around. I just used for the first time last weekend. I used a Nissan Maxima to transport the screen to another location, and I found out that it was not big as I was thinking, so I am assuming that it will fit inside of most cars. Also, I recommend you to buy the carry case if you want to keep the screen in a good condition. Great screen for the price. You will have problems to transport the screen inside the original box because it is huge, that's why a carry case (that is not included) it's a must.
Sometimes I get a bit irritated when trying to make the image perfectly focused on the screen. The picture is much brighter than on the wall and it is clearly an improvement. On the one hand, since I'm taking the screen down after each movie, it is hard to get the screen truly perpendicular to the projector. I've used the screen several times to watch movies at home. When stored, it sits discretely in the corner of the room. On the other, there is some very gentle folding that comes from the very gentle curve on the top support beam. The screen is easy to put up, and easy to take down. But, while these are irritating as long as I'm trying to make the image perfect, I forget all about it, and don't notice a thing, as soon as the movie starts.
