First off, the sound quality is not very good and the tone arm does not have a weight control to prevent the stylus from severely damaging your ablums if accidently kicked or knocked. Also without weight control on the tone arm, more pressure is applied on the sound groves and your albums won't last very long. This turntable and most if not all the Crosley's turntables are overpriced for what it gives you. You can definitely get a better deal for a turntable equipted with tone arm weight control so the stylus will ease up your fine albums and still give you excellent sound quality.
It is also easy to pack up and take with you to an oldies party, which I did. It is very easy to use and has great stereo sound. This is an excellent product. I have a large collection of 45 rpm records and this player sounds great when I play them. I would recommend this turntable to anyone who likes listening to the oldies on the original records.
GREAT PRODUCT, NO COMPLAINTS.WOULD BUY ANOTHER LOOKS JUST LIKE THE ORIGINALS ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE PLUG
The volume doesn't go EXTREMELY high but is plenty loud enough and the sound can be adjusted somewhat using the tone dial. The case is thick and sturdy, but the actual turntable seems a little wobbly (thus the 4 star review, instead of 5). I've had no trouble with it and my family and I are enjoying it very much. This product is a basic record player and simple to operate. It isn't for extremely picky music lovers, just for people who want to hear their old record albums again or listen to their yard-sale finds. I'm happy that I bought it and would do so again.
Jazz, blues, and punk rock records sound great on this. Much warmer than digital format. Vinyl baby. Really cool portable stereo record player. I'v never been a big stereo system guy and I live in a relatively small apartment, so this is perfect for me. luv it.
