I love this player. It has done a great job. I bought this CD player 9 years ago. I don't see the need to buy a new one. This one rocks. I also haven't used it in 4 years, so when I pulled it out of my moving boxes today it was still working without a skip. Too bad it's not made anymore.
I have had this walkman for over 5 years now and I have never needed to repair or replace it. The only thing that's ever happened to it is that there are VERY minor scratchs on the silver plated top which show in the light. Trying to decide what walkman to buy to me is stupid. The ESP is great and having traveled on planes, trains, and automobiles with it active there has never been a time where it continually skipped, maybe once or twice but never more. Mainly, this is a great walkman that does the job to perfection and should never need to be replaced. They're all pretty much the same so you should just go for the cheaper ones. That means that you should go and buy this walkman.
